Med School: I am currently a fourth-year med student at East Tennessee State University's J. H. Quillen College of Medicine, HOWEVER, I am also a first-year resident in Family Medicine with ETSU's program in Kingport, TN (Holston Valley Hospital) through an Accelerated Residency program offered here.
MCAT score: 30
Other careers: I was a CNA for 2 years on a hospital med-surg unit and worked for my local Free Clinic as a Community Liaison during those 2 years as well. I have also done research on end-of-life and palliative care.
Interests:My interests include home improvement; I love to paint, sand, finish furniture, and build; exploring the local trails with my husband and 3 dogs, antiques, and music. We also have one cat that rules the household, or did until the baby came along!
Favorite movie: My three favorite movies are "When Harry Met Sally," "Amadeus," and "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" (an eclectic mix). But they all have a common thread...great music.
