Other Careers: Dancer, Computer Programmer, currently a project assistant for a public health study in San Francisco that looks at homeless and marginally housed people who have HIV. I'm also the site supervisor for HIV testing at San Francisco Needle Exchange, but this is a volunteer position.
Interests: Almost all forms of visual art, music, dance, writting and reading what other people write, tattoos, philosophy, neuroscience, yoga, food (eating it, not making it), the causes of schizophrenia, homelessness and addiction, and, of course, medicine.
Favorite Movie: This changes as my mood changes, but I actually own "The Princess Bride," and I loved "The Hours." The movie that speaks closest to my heart right now is "White Oleander." I am such a chick.
Better Question for Me: Favorite Book: Right now, "The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay." Also, anything about Alexander the Great, and "One Hundred Years of Solitude."
