    • Having a baby half way through second year
    • A lot of what will happen is still up in the air since I haven't talked to the Dean yet. I don't know if its possible to take a year off after 4th but I should know more next week. From the sounds of it, its not possible or advised. Thats fine, I wouldn't mind starting my year off half way through 4th if I had to. • Hello
    • Hi my names Bailey. Just to tell you a little bit about myself I went to school off and on for a few years majoring in business Finance and later on figured out that the two piece suit and latter climbing wasn't something I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I like helping people and I'm fairly empathetic to a point where it's a fault sometimes :) but I'm glad I figured it out now instead of later. Hopefully I can get plenty of good information about going into the medical field.

    • Create a Greeting Card?
    • If you had to create a Holiday greeting card what would it like? Photo greeting cards are probably the most common printable greeting cards most people make. These cards basically have a photo on one side and a message on the other, or sometimes, on the photo itself. This is a really fun card to give out especially during Halloween, Christmas and New Year. You can place pictures of the holiday symbols and a small personal greeting. These photo cards are also great little souvenirs or keepsakes...

Family Medicine Jobs in Portland, Oregon

Family Medicine jobs in Portland most often have as a requirement Family Medicine board certification (or eligibility) and an up-to-date Oregon license to practice medicine. Completing a Family Medicine residency or fellowship in Oregon is often helpful because it suggests the physician is cognizant of OR Medicaid policies.

Family Medicine salaries for the west region of the U.S., including Portland, OR, run around $208,996. On the other hand the national average Family Medicine salary is $197,655, meaning Family Medicine jobs in Portland pay approximately 105.7% of the national mean.

Because of unusual insurance and statutes of Oregon, care should be taken to address concerns like malpractice tail insurance.

More generally, the effect of the healthcare reform bill on income for Family Medicine practices is not yet obvious.
