Hi! I just started my first year of med school. I'm from Utah, I'm LDS, and I'm recently married. My husband and I just moved to Chicago so I could start school, and he's studying engineering at another school in the area. I'm really excited about school and my husband is very supportive, but I feel like there's no one like me anywhere. At school, I feel different because I'm married and Mormon, while at church I feel different because I'm a female med student. Any suggestions from anyone who is LDS or comes from a background that is not always very supportive of women having careers? I just really need to feel like I'm not the only one. I appreciate it!
