Hi, I was accepted to the Indiana University school of Medicine for this fall. I am so thrilled, and I will be at the Indianapolis campus because my husband works in downtown Indianapolis. I have two children. A 4 and 1/2 year old girl who will be starting kindergarden the same day I start medical school on the south side in Franklin township, and a 1 year old boy who will be starting school that day too. I am looking for any mom's that are also medical students at IU in Indianapolis. I realize that medical school is terribly busy, and we won't have much if any time for a real or traditional support group, but I would love to get something together even if we just manage to actually get together 2 times a year. There are so many things to deal with when returning to medical school especially if you are draging two kids and a husband. Anyway, let me know if you are around.
