I will be beginning medical school this fall. My husband and I have two children. Did those of you with children experience any difficultly getting money you needed through alternative loans?

Thanks.

I had no problem getting whatever I needed through alternative loans. I even had my childcare expenses worked in with actual numbers. (They budgeted $2400 for the year for 2 kids. eek ) I don't know if we'll take the daycare money this year, but it's nice to know it's there. Make sure you talk to your financial aid office to reiterate that you're not a single, right out of college kid because they may adjust your aid package accordingly.

Thank you so much for replying. That's good to hear. Our financial aid package has not yet been finalized and we're just having some anxiety.

I'd love to hear from anyone else.
