hi everyone,

for those who want to go to med school but don't want major in bio or chem or alike. but you want to major in something that you actually enjoy. when do you start your premed classes?

do you take the preemd classes during the time you are working on your english degree or wait until after you have the degree then take the science classes?

Thanks.

Hey, e_phn! Thought I'd chime in here. I am a Liberal Studies major--I took prereqs and core requirements concurrently. I did have an area of concentration (which is required of this particular degree) in natural science, however.
(we get to choose our area of concentration could be english, psych, soc., business etc.)

For example,one semester I took:
1. Chemistry
2. Genetics
3. Humanities
4. Computer elective

Another semester I took:
1. Biochemistry
2. Humanities
3. Aesthetics (Art, music, theater etc.)
