I'm doing pretty well. With this first cycle, I really only experienced some tiredness, headache and bizarre joint pains for the first 3 days or so...Now I'm actually feeling much better physically than I did before. I'm able to breathe much, much better....which leads me to believe that the tumor is shrinking already.

I've had an ultrasound post-chemo also and baby was doing well...we'll keep doing the weekly ultrasounds etc....

But congrats to you!!!!! This has been an amazing thread!

DrVicky, yup, its probably time for the pg thread. Possibly for a "first trimester" or "newly pg" thread? I do hope for those still waiting or trying clomid or other treatments, that this thread stays alive. I know I'll check back !

I have not been on since before Christmas but not that we have finally returned from several weeks of whirlwind holiday traveling I can catch up.
The progesterone worked and I started my period on the 9th day of it. Now I am temping and waiting to take a blood test to see if I ovulate this month.
d2b-how is your progesterone cycle going?
siflower-my husband and I decided that it would be best to be in the 2nd trimester during the time when I would take Step 1. We thought it would be ideal to do the queasy 1st trimester stuff during a time when I could stay home from classes if I wanted to rather than have to push through it with rotations starting. If we get pregnant this month we will be due at the end of Sept. or early Oct. this year, which leaves a few months for rotations to begin before I take time off.

hi guys, just found out new years eve that i was pregnant after 3 IUI's. went today for a first blood test. my BHCG was good, but progesterone really low. i was given vag suppositories. i have read on the internet that they don't work
now i am really depressed that everything is so problematic for us and we were so excited before this test.

My Re said he has has very good results with the vaginal suppositories and he has me on them for my first trimester. Be positive! I will be thinking about you and your little one. when are you getting another hcg and progesterone level? i am sure it will be higher:))

today was my first test, i start the suppositories tonite, one before bed, one in the morning and i go for another check on wed. did u also have low progesterone? i guess we just waited so long for this moment that it sucks having something wrong. i will keep u in my thoughts too and hopefully join u in the pregnancy thread soon. s

I guess the progesterone is going well. I got my period after a month of being on it so I am waiting this month to see what happens. I forgot to temp so I think I'll do that next month as well; so not sure if I am ovulating yet. I'll see my doctor next week and see what the next step is. Good luck nad babydust to us all this year!!!

No I didn't have low progesterone. But my RE says he puts all of his IF patients on progesterone. he figures he wants the best odds and he doesn't want to risk a low progesterone for too long. I went for my weekly progesterone level this morning. Good luck with your blood tests.
