I started clomid on day 4 of my cycle and took it through day 8. i ovulated on Day 14 and as my husband would say we made the donuts:) Hopefully it worked. I am seeing the OB on tuesday and he will do a pregnancy test before he gives me another month of clomid. Keep your head up. There are lots of us out there struggling with the same problem. Sometimes I feel like everyone around me can get pregnant and it is so frustrating. i have to believe that it will happen to us. ( I am trying to stay positive) Crying didn't seem to help :crossfingers:

Ahh! I'm making myself crazy over this clomid stuff--- right now I am sitting around waiting for the provera to work & I have been doing (too much) reading about hypothalamic amenorrhea and have got myself convinced that the provera won't work and I'll never be able to start the clomid...

anybody have a similar experience?

Don't make yourself crazy. day 3 or 4 is fine. But I understand what you mean. I am waiting to test to see if i am pregnant. every little thing about my body i try and figure out if maybe it means i am pregnant. I am going out of my mind. My ob said three cycles of clomid at the lowest dose and then bump to 100 mg for three. there is an increased risk of ovarian cancer after I think 8 cycles? I want a baby not ovarian cancer :boggled: Hang in there.

I posted Friday in my own intro thread, but I thought I'd post again. Has anybody else had this happen? I went in Friday morning for my ovarian ultrasound before starting my next cycle of Clomid, and they found 2 cysts on my right ovary. So I have to wait a month before doing the Clomid again. What a disappointment! Of course I'm glad to play it safe, but I went in on Friday expecting to start a new cycle, so it was upsetting. I was told that it's not uncommon for women using Clomid to have to take a month off, because the drug can sometimes leave cysts. Also, I was told that I probably DID ovulate last cycle, but much later than normal, and that's what the "cysts" were: remaining large follicles from the ovulation (they weren't huge, just big).

I just want a baby! Maybe this month I'll ovulate on my own :crossfingers: In any case at least I'll hopefully be able to start again next month, as long as the cysts are gone.

Tigress... would the cysts be related to hyperstimulation?

The only reading I've done that even distantly relates is that when clomid is combined with GnRH pump then you have less of a chance of the adverse effects...

are you at 100mg now?

I have a question. My Ob didn't ultrasound my ovaries before giving me another month of Clomid. Is that normal? I thought he had to check for cysts or over stimulation? Just wondering. As you can tell we did not get pregnant last month. We will just keep on trying. :banghead:
