Thank you to those of you who helped me try to get info on putting a car seat in the back seat of a 2000 Saab convertible. Yes, it can be done!

I never found a good answer on the internet. Just went ahead and purchased a Britax Regent online (it is insanely large, I did not pay attention to the dimensions, I don't know what I was thinking).

I took it to the fire station last night and the guy got it in no problem. It is the most secure car seat ever. It takes up one whole side but an 80 lb adult can sit there .

The fireman also checked to make sure that the seat had not been recalled. I was suprised to find out that my less than 2 year old Britax Boulevard had a potential recall.
