What great discoveries have you made that you now can't live without?
#1 (for babies) - the Snap and Go stroller. Basically a light frame with wheels that your baby carseat snaps onto. Genius. No unbuckling a happy sleeping baby.
#2 (for toddlers) - white popsicles! (called Great White, I think). All the artificial flavor, none of the artificial color. No stains!

With babies... snap & go and the exersaucer.

For my preschoolers - I recently discovered those Tofutti cutie ice cream sandwiches. They are great. I like that they are small enough to small ones, moderately healthy and taste absolutely great.

I'm sure there are more. How about those wretched band-aids and fruit jellies that come in every toy, cartoon and brand-name possible. I say wretched becasue they go through them like hot cakes. We tried the no blood no band-aid rule and it didn't work!

Loc: finally the wonderful world of...
I think I could go on and on about this topic!

My #1 for babies was the Boppy nursing pillow which I used constantly for the first 6 months of my daughter's life...there is something great about preserving your back and being comfortable while nursing!
My #2 for babies old enough to sit up on their own-I recently bought a "Shop and Go" (infantino-available at all Target/Walmart type stores) after seeing one at baby shower. This is a fabric mat which goes in the shopping cart or over a high chair in a restaurant so that they can't chew on the handles or rungs and also have toys readily available...that has saved many a meal for us! It also doubles as a play mat for younger babies or in a place like the pediatrician's office where they baby wants to be on the floor but you don't want them on a dirty surface!
My #3 for babies old enough to sit up has been the "Swivel bath seat"-I think it's by the First Years. I had had a really hard time finding an appropriate bathtub for an older infant-although my infant tub turns into a seat it has a high back and doesn't allow you to get at all sides of the baby-and was just bathing the baby in the tub with me, which although fun, was very time consuming and cumbersome, not to mention that it is hard to get out of the tub safely with a slippery little one! This little bath seat really worked, easy to use and inexpensive too!

Thanks for the other tips, I'm going to try and find those white popsicles, what a fabulous idea! I'm looking forward to ideas from those people out there that have toddlers/older infants-I'm looking for some good toys that she won't immediately grow out of!
