What do any of you med students, residents, and doctors wish someone had said to you candidly that ended up being a huge unforseen suprise of any variety; things that are funny, emotional, financial, relational, inspiring, scary etc.

-i wish someone would have told me that my husband would be unsupportive ( he tries though).
i wish someone woudl have told me that even
-though i was the youngest person of the firends i knew in college and at my workplace, that wans't going to happen in med school and that it WOULD make a difference ( mainly socially).
- i wish that someone would have told me the biggets study tip that has helped me excel the last quarte for first year and second year thus far- sooner!
- i wish that God Himself would come down himself right now and tell me what specialty He wants me to go into!

So what is your biggest study tip?

this may not see BIG to you but it literally made my grades go up and up! REPETITION.
seriously read the text book as many timeas as you can. of course if you are doing path and It's robbins that's ONCE! so i read review books. for example for 2 upcoming exams i am behind so every day i read the infor for this block in a review book or first aid.
that brings me to something i think i am going to had to add when people ask me how i study- i usually keep up with the classes. even if i can't read everything before classs i either read the syllabus or a review book or somethings. so the information has started to percolate through my thick brain.
