I completed a residency in Preventive Medicine/Public Health and I am now finding that there are few opportunities in my area. I have an MSPH in Biostats and would like to go into research. Does anyone know where I should look? I also considered going back to do a more clinical residency such as family medicine or pediatrics, but was told I couldn't be paid b/c I had already completed a residency. Does anyone know any way around this? Thanks so much.

How frustrating. Is that only the case at the same place you finished your first residency or does it pertain to anywhere you could go?? I had a friend who had to leave residency and then return a year later to repeat the year and somehow the residency lost money (her salary) because of it so they wouldn't let her return for 2 years (which is how they somehow got around it).

Is there a job through the Health department, CDC, university or in an employee health area?
