Hi,

I'll be starting my Internal Medicine R1 year in 4 months. I'm interested in pursuing a fellowship in Cardiology and would really appreciate a mentor. I'm especially concerned because I do not have any research experience and have heard that it's difficult to do research in residency. Some guidance regarding the fellowship system would also be very useful, as I'm in Eastern Canada and am not sure if it works in the same way as in the US (for which a lot more information is available.)
