I am a 27 year old mother of four; ages 3, 5, 8, and 11. I decide to go back to school when my husband left us a year and a half ago. Currently struggling to handle full-time job, full-time course load, and full-time parenthood. I am over 600 miles away from the nearest relative and just a little lonely on top of everything else.

Would like a mentor who is either a physician already or a med student. My goal is neonatology or surgery.

The only advice I have been give thus far is that I need to cut my course load, but that is not an acceptable option for me right now. My GPA is only about 2.6 and I know the material, I just don't have the extra time I need to study it, so that the information is automatic. And I can't afford to quit working.

If you think you can help or know someone who can please respond to this e-mail. And thank you. :guilty:
