I posted on this board awhile ago and heve not gotten a response(as most others have not I see  ) and was wonering if anyone would like to have a sort of "support"partner. I know it sounds kind of silly, but having someone to talk to about things you are going through and really helping someone in return one on one may be something some of us could try. That way we would still have a person to talk to that would get to know us and help support us in a more solid way than just posting on the premed forum. Just a thought.

Hey I don't know if anyone is posting in here anymore, but I would like to be "support buddies" with someone too. I am in my first semester in a community college, planning to transfer to UC davis as a junior in 1 1/2 years. Then apply to UC davis medical school. So any advice on what to expect would be appreciated

I too wouldn't mind having a support buddy. I am a freshman at the University of Louisville. I am a mathematics/pre-med major and I think that it would be cool to have someone else who's experiencing the same/similar things as I am.
Feel free to e-mail me anytime.[Put "mommd" in the subject box so I wouldn't delete it smile ]

Hullo

I'm a junior at UCSD, Human Development/Premed. I just transferred from community college last fall. I think you're onto something with this support buddy thing :scratchchin:

The big things going on in my life are trying to balance my (very serious to the point of marriage) boyfriend with fulfilling all the requirements, class, volunteering, work, extra curricular activities etc...and then just trying to be the best candidate I can be...

So yeah, if I can be of help to anyone, that'd be cool:)

I'm looking for support buddies too. The semester has been my most difficult yet. I am a junior-senior this semester. Which means I will be applying to med school this summer. I am a very busy mother of four.

I need someone who wants an extra burst of motivation and will provide the same. My main e-mail address is latmille@iupui.edu if anyone is interested.
