I'm a mid-30's mom of 3 planning trying to complete this journey (that started 20 years ago) of trying to become a doctor.
:boggled: ? Anybody else on the horns of this delimma?

Wow...I can't imagine life without one either of my boys...if I had to look back and decide to keep going to school, and have kids later, or still be going to school and have my boys now, I definately would NOT change a thing. Career and school will always be there, but babies are such blessings!!! :laughing:
If thats what you really want, go for it!!

well, I'm not on the horns of that particular dilemma, but I can relate to the rest! :laughing:

I'm a mid 30's mom starting med school in a few months. I never seriously considered a 4th child though. After the career slowdown that came about when my twins were born, I knew 3 was enough for me.

Where are you in the path? still years away from applying? (have 4th now) or ready to start? (wait or think twice)

Actually I've already taken my prereq's (this is a path that I started 20 years ago). I'm taking the MCAT this summer, and then some "refresher" basic science courses at a local college (in the evenings). I can probably seriously consider applying within the next three years.

we can have it all these days! its just that not all of us want it all at the same time!!!
but, anything can be done - do what feels right!
