Hello,
I am a student and mom who wants to broaden my medical career. I knew from the time I was a little girl that I always wanted to study medicine. I just never gave myself enought credit and I come from a family where the men are supposed to be doctors and the women are supposed to be nurses. I have a great respect for nurses as I am one myself.
I ran accross this website while searching and I was very pleased to find it. It gives me hope that this can happen for me too. As moms, we sometimes are too quick to give up potential opportunities by submitting to the belief that career and goal-wise, our time has passed. By giving into that belief, we not only forfeit opportunities for ourselves, but for our children as well. Thanks again and feel free to say hello. I want to support everyone here.

It's great to hear from others whom I share something in common with. It's nice to hear from you both! Any academic advice? Tips? Tricks of the trade? Thanks! Leianna

Where are you in this journey? Have you started school again yet? Major? What part of IN are you from?
