Just thought I'd mention this to Aidan, and to anyone else with plans to take the MCAT while pregnant. I was 7 mos pregnant when I took it, and I got an accommodation from the MCAT people. (just needed a letter from my ob/gyn). I was unable to fit into the table/chair units in the testing center, so they arranged for me to take the test at a table with a separate chair near the door in case I needed to leave. I was also having hot flashes that would make me feel faint and queasy, so I was allowed to bring a few chemical cold packs (the type for athletic injuries) to help me feel cooler. I was also allowed to bring bottled water. Finally, if I needed to use the restroom, I could leave the room without disqualifying my test, but I would not receive any time compensation for the time I left -- I didn't actually have to leave though, I'd run to the restroom between sections. Be sure and contact the MCAT people at least 6 weeks in advance, it takes them a little while to process the accommodation. Taking the test wasn't bad at all, plus I felt like 2 heads were better than one -- hee hee. I was 8.5 months pregnant at my interviews and I found out I was admitted to my school on the same evening I went to the hospital to give birth to Isobella! Very exciting! She'll be 9 mos old when I start med school, and I have all the same concerns as most moms -- about how to balance the mom and the md, and to do the best I can for her. Good luck to you all!
