I'm new to this forum...I actually had this page bookmarked for quite some time, but never got around to posting (probably just too shy to jump in). I guess it's about time to introduce myself! My name is Lari (rhymes with "Ferarri") and I'm from northern Nevada. I attended UC Davis (graduated in '02) and studied microbiology. I will be attending Midwestern University/CCOM this fall. At the moment, I'm interested in geriatric medicine. For the last couple years, I've been working as a teaching assistant for various microbiology lectures and labs at UC Davis.

I've been with my boyfriend for 5 1/2 years - he's attending art school for his BFA. I have no children and do not plan on getting married for quite some time. I do plan on having a family some day, so of course this site will be helpful for me in determining how I would work that in with my career.

I enjoy ice hockey (did play goaltender for several years until I accumulated too many injuries, so now I occasionally watch and coach), racquetball, collecting Hello Kitty stuff, and taking care of hamsters (yes, I'm a nut!). :wave:
