Need advice from current med school student juggling work/family balance. I have wanted to go to med school for as long as I can remember, and chickened out in undergrad because I was worried about work/family balance. Now I'm 30 w/ a PhD in Analytical Chemistry and am very seriously considering going back, but want to make sure I understand what I am getting myself into. Need someone to chat with who is currently going through med school w/ children. Thanks!

Hi Andrea...and welcome.

This is - for obvious reasons - an ongoing topic on this web site. If you look under the Family and Parenting section there is a lot of good information already available to look over. And I'm sure many moms will happily provide additional input on any particular questions you might have.

Regards!
