I am expecting mine on December 24, can't wait! :hyper: So far we have had some great football practices (she is a hell of a kicker!), and I am very eager to see her, hug her and kiss her. :cloud9:

Our second child was born on October 7, 2004. He has as proud sister who is 18 months old! Kind of anxious about juggling parental responsibilities when I begin medical school next year.....

My third was born on St.Patty's day this year. She is the apple of my eye. She is such a pixie. She is nearly 8 months and weighs only 18 pounds. (Her two brothers were mooses, they weighed that at 4 months) It is so cool to have a little girl join my boys. The boys insist in sleeping in her room, in order to keep an eye out for her. They are so sweet with her.

Well, our 3rd one is suppose to be here around December 20th! BUT we are expecting him in a week or so. It will be interesting to see just when he decides to show up because exmas are coming up! Any time will be wonderful. I loved having him during 2nd year of medical school. I'm now glad that I didn't wait until 3rd year like we had originally planned. Anyway, congrats to all the rest of you with new ones this years, especially to those of you with girls!! My boys would loved to have had a sister, but have gotten excited about a brother all the same! Em

My little guy will be 10 months old in a few days. The time passes so quickly. He has twin cousins who were born 4 weeks ago and they look so TINY next to him. He's going to be tall like his dad, I think.
I love him so much and am honored to be his mommy. :cloud9: I heard a saying that applies to both residency and motherhood. "The days are long, but the years are short."

My wee one is almost 18 months! I can't believe how fast the time goes. She's talking and demanding and loving and....so demonstrative! I'm loving it. The itch to have another is getting stronger each day, but I'm not sure yet how I'd deal with an infant during my pre-clinical years because I've been a SAHM this whole time for #1. Is #2 really that much easier (not EASY, mind you, but easiER)? Women have done this before, right? I mean have a baby while in med school? If you can't tell, I'm trying to convince myself that it's doable. :scratchchin:

Yeah exactly, easiERRR!! I don't know about medical school or when you're practicing medicine, but let me just say even though you will find that things are relatively easier, you will definitely need to get some help if you are not a SAHM when you have the second baby.

I am NEVER going to have mine!! I am at 39 weeks and not really sure he likes the idea of giving up residence! we think, based on our last ultrasound, that he is close to 8 pounds already! I hope we dont have to go another week! my husband is already calling him our christmas ham!

My little drama queen was born at the end of October, 4 weeks early (just like her brother on both accounts)!!! Much easier the second time around. Only 3 hours of labor and a few pushes .
