Anyone have any ideas on how to "get" these :censored: physics questions? I don't remmember ever hurting myself so much when I took the class. Maybe I lost it. I know the formulas, I think I know how to apply them, but when the question comes I either draw a blank or simply get it wrong! I need a good tackling strategie, anyone got one? HELP!!!! :weeping:

Thanks for the tip Efex. Do you know who the author is, there are a few books out there w/ the same title. I'll take any help I can get. Did you use the book? Is it like a classroom type of book or more like a "physics made simple for unconceptual  MCAT students book" I'm aiming at the Aug MCAT, do you think I'de benefit from it (instead of the EK phys. Book :banghead: ? Thank you so much! Eli

Thanks Efex, I did a search on conceptual phys. and found a really great site. It's a phys classroom/tutorial for high school students, and is absolutely great. Simple enough for the MCAT! and that's perfect for me.
Thanks again...I'm doing great (so far improoved by 3 points in Phys  )

Hi Eli, What was the site you found? I have trouble with the conceptual stuff too and a simple review would be nice.

The physics is kicking my butt and it is making me very nervous. I had both Physics 2 years ago and made an A in each one. Monday I spent the entire day working on Trig problems and today one would have thought I had never heard the word Cartesian coordinate. I am really struggling with this and I am not sure why. I have not even begun to look at Organic and I am afraid I might be running out of time. Help!

Relax...you might be looking at more material than you need to. Print out a list of Phys. subjects you need to know from the AAMC website for the MCAT and just go down the list.
Go to the web site I listed above and just start reading. You will see that its so simple that a lot of the stuff will become repetitious. Just skip ahead to the "check your understanding" to see how you do. After you got the concept, reading whatever MCAT review book you are using should be easy! Trust me I felt the same way a couple of months ago. Today I'm a lot more confident.
If you have any specific problems, just list them, and post here. I think most of us would be willing to help. Besides helping you, is review and helping me too! I took Phys and Chem about 8 yrs ago, if there is hope for me, there is for sure help for you! Worste case cenario (sp!) we can help each other, 2 brains are better than one right  ?
