Here in Missouri we are encountering a very lively debate on stem cell research and specifically how it relates to SCNT. For those of you who don't know me I work in a medical research lab so the mechanics of all of this aren't foriegn to me nor does SCNT offend my uncompromised pro-life beliefs. What I need help in is educating others in my faith community about what SCNT is and isn't. What I'm looking for is a reliable and unbiased definition of "embryo" and the etymology if available - thanks much - I know some of you will be able to help. Anyone interested in the issue need only Google Missouri Amendement 2 and there is PLENTY of material both pro and con out there without my elucidating any further.
