I'm still recovering from my csec 11 weeks ago, I loved the percocet, I was up and about before the "24 hour bed rest period" driving my nurses crazy and delirious on duramorph tired :goodvibes:

What was tough was the disappointment after laboring for 38 hours, then pushing for 3.5 hours (my ob said she would've let me push to 6 hours if I didn't get chorio)They never tell you how traumatizing it is to go through the whole thing, thinking it will be one way and it ending up another!

Can you believe through this whole thing my plumpchkn didn't have one decel? They ultimately took her to prevent infection.

K-Fed=scum. He can have two babies with one woman and not marry her,but Britney comes along and buys him a Ferrari and now she's mother of the year? Give me a break!
What makes her think that he won't leave her as easily? And now he working on a "rap album" so she can be stay at home mommy?! He doesn't seem very talented. And a c-section with no pain? Nubain and an epidural worked wonders for me  Media whore is right!Thumbs up to Justin Timberlake for getting outta that mess!

I believe that our heads are STILL getting bigger! As human beings take on more and more complex tasks and work exclusively with their brains as opposed to their hands, their heads HAVE to get bigger. The recent discovery of Haplogroup - D (variants of the Microcephalin and ASPM) is more than sufficient proof that our brains are still evolving. I believe that the little organ in the top storey is just getting more and more complex, beating even the most hard-wired of super computers.

A while ago, I came across an article in which an evolutionary biologist predicted that there will be major structural changes to the human body, if the species should survive for the next 2 or 3 million years! He said that our descendents would probably be shaped like a brocolli bunch - with thin, stalky bodies and a very large head!

YIKES! I'm sooooooooooooo glad that I won't be giving birth 2 million years from today!

But who knows? Maybe our smart, large brained descendents would have figured out a way to have a baby develop OUTSIDE a woman's body in an artificial uterus! My Genetics Prof often jokes that the only thing men are useful for these days are their sperm. That THEORITICALLY with cloning, even that purpose has been taken away from them. So maybe we can eliminate the need for the men in the next 200 years?

Just a thought. A pretty pleasant thought right after a BIG squabble with a moronic husband! laugh laugh laugh

Yes, our heads have grown larger and our pelvises need to keep things in place since we walk upright and, yes, our babies are born relatively prematurely *but* it is *still* a normal biological process...most of the time.

So I would say, "yes" to both sides of the fence so to speak when they are correct.

Britney Spears doesn't deserve the attention she is getting. I wouldn't use her as an arguement for or against C-sections or anything else for that matter. She is a media whore and I couldn't care less about her.
