Just b'cos we deal with life and death(ofcourse with Miracles) do you think that we(DR's)beleive in GOD more than other professionals.

No, I don't think doctors have a greater belief in God than other professionals. There is something to the notion that familiarity breeds contempt.

No...I think most people believe in "God," by whatever name they call Her , doctors included. But *more* than other people...I don't think so.

I don't think there is any greater belief in God among healthcare professionals (doctors or otherwise) than among the general populaton...I agree we see a lot of miraculous stuff, but we also see a lot of things that could make the strongest believer question the existance/plan of God (ie the 3 year that dies of leukemia...).

I actually read a study somewhere (I'll try to dig up the source and see if I can find it) that showed survey results saying that more doctors were athiests than most professions. I'm not sure whether it's a reaction to the awful things you see as a doctor, or whether it's the scientific, objective mindset, but there are certainly a fair amount of agnostics and athiests in medicine.

For those doctors that do believe in a god, I'm not sure whether or not you can really quantify faith by saying they believe more or less than someone else.
