Hello everyone!

I'm an Indian doctor who finished medschool and got married last year
I'm currently in DC preparin for my steps... have no friends around so am extremely happy I found this site
Planing to conceive soon too.. dunno how thats going to hamper my residency programme.
I'm in love with dancing and would love to live the rest of my life doing the same... but thats going to disappoint my parents who pumped in a lot of money for my education.. sigh!!

Anyone who has taken alternate professions...please tell me about the ups and downs you went through...

Very few take alternate professions i guess..
My idol has always been Dr.Palash Sen, who had a passion for singing and AFTER becoming an orthopedician, he started his own music band with him as the lead singer. His music albums became huge hits nation wide and his band,popular. Whenever he's not singing, he runs his own clinic in his home town..soo cool.

Hats off to this man, who lives his Life to the fullest!!

Hi there! I know its too late to reply, but i joined recently & saw your mAIl. You should not plan for having kids till after 2nd year of residency. I had my elder one in 1st year and now i am sitting at home for 3 years.
