Since I've seen this as a issue that comes up here and there, I thought I'd report that I've now taken both the CS and CK portions of Step 2 while pumping, and it worked out fine. The longest period of time I had to go without pumping was the first portion of CS - from about 7, when I pumped in the hotel just before heading over to the exam, until around 11 or 11:30 when we got our first break.

I think if I'd really pushed it, I probably could have worked with the testing center to sneak a really fast pumping in 8:30ish at the end of orientation when they let you look at how to move the exam table up and down and such (I didn't even ask, since my baby's old enough now that one 4-5 hour stint isn't a disaster for me).

Overall: it was WAY more doable than I feared it would be, with the biggest drawback being that I spent too much time worrying about how it would work out.
