Yes there are lot of websites and bloggers who need articles about your profession. You can try to look for one in outsourcing sites like odesk.com and guru.com

You can also check this blog for more info on outsourcing sites: http://www.timedoctor.com/blog/2011/02/22/the-top-6-outsourcing-sites-and-how-to-use-them

Any way to get info on the online program you are pursuing? I love my job, but would also like to begin thinking about the next phase of my career. I estimate my burnout as an intensivist in about 10 years and would like to start planning!

The initial post was awhile ago, so don't know if anyone is following this, but I'm a former OB/GYN who has been working for EHR doing compliance reviews full-time for 6 months and part-time for 5 months before that and I really like it. Part-time is at least 20 weeks and you can work from home.

DrEthiope, I'm very interested in your post! How did you become involved with the EHR company?

Thanks DrEthiope! I am currently in the interview process. We will see how it goes. I may have questions about scheduling shifts!

Hi CCUMOM,

To answer your question, I'm currently enrolled in the Physician Executive MBA program at the University of Tennessee. Most of the work is done online, but you do have to be on campus in Knoxville, TN for 1 week per quarter. It is a 1 year program and I'm so glad I chose to attend. There are 50 physicians in my class this year, so it's also a great networking system.

I'm late in all this. I just joined this site. Looking for other employment opportunities. I'm ER trained but I would like something to transition to that's more part time or home based.

Hello,

Can you provide more information about the EHR positions? Most of what I see are more of the technical jobs working with software (where I have no related skills).
