Hello,

Just looking for opinions on when to take the General Chemistry series? I am signed up to start Gen Chem 1 this fall, but wondering if it might be too soon. My goal is to take the MCAT in three years, but realistically it will probably be in four to five. Still working on my undergrad and have not taken any pre-reqs at this point.

Thank you for your advice!

I think taking it early is fine. Just learn it thoroughly so you can review it effectively. You can't take all the classes right before the MCAT, and chemistry will be a prerequisite for a lot of other courses.
