I would not start pumping again with a baby over a year of age. Your baby will get most of her nutrition from whole milk and solid food. Breast feeding will be supplemental and for comfort and bonding at this point. Just keep nursing when you are together and try not to worry about it too much. It will probably be easier on her that you think!
This is what I want to do, and I think I just needed to hear it from someone. So thank you

My DD #1 used a bottle for EBM until she stopped taking EBM at over a year. She would take water in a sippy cup but not EBM. If your DD will take EBM in a sippy cup, that's great.
I think it's great that you pumped for so long. If I were still pumping I might continue, but it's been quite a while (I haven't needed to be apart from DD during her two nursing sessions/day), and I'm just not up for picking it up again. DH really doesn't think I should either.
I think one thing to realize is that you can make the best plan, but until that day you won't know what will work best for both you and your daughter. It's also not like you can't change your mind in the first few days if it isn't going well.
Very true, and something to remember amidst all the planning. Despite the unpredictable nature of life, I always feel the need to plan it out as best I can. I'm a control freak, what can I say?

You should be proud of yourself for nursing to a year and beyond.
Thank you. I try to think this way whenever I feel guilty about stopping - DD and I have accomplished quite a lot!
Thanks for all the support, ladies! I'll keep you updated
