Well, my name is Stephanie and I am 24 years old. I am first year pre-med and undergraduate student. I became a mom in high school and decided to put off going back to school until recently. I have 3 children and have been married for 7 years now in which he is extremely supportive. He owns his own business on the side so it allows me to do this comfortably and he is just a godsend. I will leave out the excessive details on why I want to become a doctor LoL! We would be here all day. I am at a state college right now getting some of my basics due to some cut offs on deadlines for the University of North Florida. I start at UNF in the fall of 2011. I am waiting until I transfer to do the hardcore pre-med classes. Right now, I am just doing my major requirements and some general ed reqs. I have taken Economics and I am taking Statistics and Precalculus this summer. I take 5 classes a semester, it's really hard sometimes BUT I am taking a lot of extra classes to widen my knowledge and prepare me the best for med school that I can so ... I do it!
I am the most interested in surgery, neurology, or oncology. I do realize that will change once I am in med school though. I am majoring in General Psychology and minoring in Chemistry and Biology. I volunteer on Fridays at the Mayo Clinic Hospital on the surgical floor. It's an awesome opportunity that I am forever grateful for. Currently I have a 4.0 so that's good

Well... that's about it!
So glad I found a board that I could come and relate with people. My children's ages are 6, 5, and 4 btw!
