Grrr.... I have an account on SDN that I only post in the allo forums with, and was discussing what I used to study for the Surg Shelf.

Then I got a couple of PMs from complete strangers asking me to send them my materials by email!

Now, I have occasionally had friendly people offer some materials to me of their own accord, but never have I been so bold as to PM some stranger to request materials solely at their mentioning they used them!

So far, I've ignored the requests, but it's kind of irritating to me. Should I just continue to ignore them? Am I overreacting to feel annoyed by this?

I got some Pestano notes via Mommd. Wondering if I was annoying....

LOL - If it is a simple email with notes attached - I probably wouldn't mind that. If it were physical books - that's kind of weird. We sell my old books on Amazon or they just pile up on shelves around here. I don't usually send them to strangers!

PS if you are selling Surgery materials - PM a link to your amazon books, and I'll take a look at them. I have Surg next, and we are broke and I look for used books!

I got some wonderful help with the Pestana audio, but I didn't ask for that - someone gave it to me out of the blue. I wouldn't mind so much on a small forum like this where I interact with just about every active user at some point.

But on SDN, IDK, it was just weird. I didn't even mention really the format I used, just what I used. And then I started getting PMs from strangers asking me to PM them my stuff. Uhhh.... no. Not like that!
