YES! DD is over 2.5 now and I totally want another one! I'm just not willing to have a baby around during intern year, so we're waiting (not to mention, DH is not nearly as ready as I am, lol). But I completely know where you are coming from! Before DD I was always jealous of pregnant women - now I'm always jealous of pregnant moms!

I've really been considering it too. Mine is 10 months now. I think we're going to wait till atleast this year is over (intern year). It would mean I graduate slightly off cycle though since I can only use 4 weeks vacation for the 6 weeks.

My sons will be 23 months apart, so you do the math!

Clee - I love it, what funny math! Goodness - I really thought maybe it was just me, but I think there really is a 14-month baby "itch"!

but it totally makes sense - it's when your "baby" is really not a baby anymore! They are walking, starting to talk, don't look like a baby... I remember realizing that he was growing up SO FAST and I guess it just makes you want an actual baby again!

Hee hee-I have the 14 month itch every time...once they become more independent. I had two AMA children and luckily they were just fine. The main reason my husband had a vasectomy when the baby was 5 months old was so that when the 'itch' comes there is no possibility!!!

Hahaha Docmomof4- I had a *very* slight twinge this time around. Which passed extremely quickly when I realized we will have been changing diapers for almost ten consecutive years by the time Peanut is potty-trained.

14-month what? wink

I totally understand the itch. I think it's because at 14 months they are beginning to do more, nature screams for u to have a little cuddly bundle to kiss and coo over (and somehow we forget the sleepless nights, the hours of pumping that weren't so bad...). I got the itch hence baby number 2 wink Remember that in this profession there's really no 'good' time to have a baby so take life by the reigns and make another beauty (as long as you have a good support system nearby). Best of luck.
