WHAT:
To raise awareness about the importance of early colon cancer detection, the California Department of Public Health, California Colon Cancer Control Program, is bringing “Prevent Cancer’s Super Colon” to San Francisco for the first time.

“Super Colon” is a 20-foot interactive inflatable colon that people can walk through! It shows you healthy colon tissues, as well as polyps at various stages.
Unlike many other cancers, colon cancer is preventable, treatable, and beatable with proper screening. It is the second-leading cancer killer for both men and women in the United States. Early screening is the key to preventing this disease.
