UCSF Musculoskeletal MR Imaging course presents a comprehensive modern update on varying fields of musculoskeletal MRI. Evaluation of cartilage lesions, which includes the newest available sequences is highlighted. A in-depth summary of bone and soft-tissue tumors is presented with a differential diagnosis for such indications. Discussions will include optimized protocols for 1.5T and 3T MR imaging units plus significant anatomy and pathology are reviewed for each joint. Practical knowledge is applied to bone marrow, muscle and tendon disorders, and nerve entrapment.
The course is developed for diagnostic radiologists, orthopedic surgeons, sports medicine physicians, and MRI technologists with some fundamental or intermediate knowledge of musculoskeletal MRI who seek to increase their knowledge to a more advanced level.
