Well, whatever happens today this has certainly been one of the most exciting election campaigns in history. I can't help feel rather emotional today. I'm here in the UK and several of us are getting together for an election night party. We shall be awake for as long as we can.

Who knows... what are you doing? How are you feeling?

Nervous, indifferent, disgusted, prayerful. I'm obviously very conflicted.

glad the campaign is over, glad mccain doesn't look like he'll win, wondering if obama will live up to such high expections, curious about how this election will affect the way the US is viewed abroad. tired, hopeful, tired.

I'm curious about "disgusted". Why disgusted? Pretty strong word. Who/what is disgusting you? Just curious...

Looks like my pick for president is going to loose, but as a Black woman I'm obvioulsy not too disappointed that America will have it's first Black president (who claimed his minority backgound, that is becasue he's not the first with black ancestry).

I am curious to know how many of those "good ol boy southern Dems" voted for McCain and why.

And since I'm an equal opportunity offender, I'm certain at least 50% of the blacks I know are voting for Obama primarily because he's black.
