Hi there,

I said I'd do a Christmas craft party for my girls. Does anyone have any cool and inexpensive festive craft/project ideas I could do?
They're 6-8 year old.

We made soaps to give away this year. It's really easy and looks good. You buy a block of glycerin at the craft store, melt it in the microwave and pour it into molds. In about 20-30 minutes you can pop them out of the molds an your done. A 5 lb block of glycerin cost about $8 at Michaels. The molds come as a plastic sheet with about 6 molds on it and cost about $3. You can also add dye and scents, for about $3 each. And you get PLENTY of nice looking soaps.

Gingerbread houses. They have those cool kits now, so it makes it pretty easy for an organized activity.
