My husband and I divided night duties when I was breastfeeding. I breastfeed and he changes diapers. And yeah, he would sleep right through the baby crying. But nothing a swift kick couldn't fix. But as many nights he would feed 6 times and may be needed to be changed once, this was not a fair arrangement. After I night weaned my son, he got the night duty. At first I had to kick him many times, but after a while he started to wake up more and I would sleep through my son crying. Now I am the one asking if our son slept well.

Personally, I found I was a lot more sensitive to baby noise when I was breastfeeding.

Thing that really infuriated me was my husband's attitude that since I chose to breastfeed, it was my choice to be exhausted. Night weaning was the best revenge. Muhahahahaha.
