I agree with the other posters, nightowl. I think that FP will give you the flexibility to focus on kids without having to do additional training. As a pediatrician myself, I can imagine some areas in which an FP-trained doc who primarily wanted to see kids would be really useful to a Peds practice. Like, just an example, you can put in IUDs for adolescents. I think most kids could be seen by FPs and free up pediatricians to be specialists.
