Pregnant and just started pre-med courses!

17 years 1 day ago #15184 by Marcy C
I just found out (EPT) this morning that I am pregnant. This will be our first child. Also I started taking pre-med courses this semester (Gen Chem and Zoology). I guess what I am asking is if I should put my career on hold till my child is at an approriate age and then continue or have the baby and stay on the path that I started? I have so many thougths running through my head...but ultimately I still want to be a doctor. What should I do?

do it anyway - I was at the start of my second year at university when I discovered that I was pregnant with my daughter; my parents were like ok give up school come home well look after you and you can be a stay home mum. I decided that wasnt the road for me because at the time i had a horrible feeling that if i did take time off then then i wouldnt go back to it. So I didnt I sat my exams 8 months pregnant which is sooo much fun I cant tell you how much, but i did it and i am really glad i did. It is definately worth it.
