In the ICU, I kept all of my pocket references on my smartphone, and clipped a keychain penlight to my ID badge. Other than an array of pens, a patient list, and a pager, all the other junk stayed in my white coat on a hook somewhere. (Hope you don't mind me answering as a lowly resident ;) ).

OMG, I love the engraved dog tag. I cannot live without my plum colored (very pretty!) cardiology master stethoscope. I may need to visit a pet store tomorrow.

I inherited scrubs that someone else had sewn zippers onto the chest pocket, and side pockets on pants. I really love them- keeps my chapstick right where i want it- not on the yucky floor! And I feel like it makes my scrubs just a tad edgy :)
