This is a great article. I know DO schools are more traditionally friendly, but just wanted to point out that many MD schools are too. I'm at an MD school, and we have nontraditional ages enrolled. Especially in the class below me for whatever reason. But definitely in my class also. I think the oldest is mid-forties. Pretty neat. I am not sure what specialties they want.

Most nontrads seem to go into primary care fields, at least that the indication I get from the oldpremeds website.
